The Best Time to Visit Us

The Kenai River is full of many species of fish. Depending on the type of species you are wanting to fish for there are specific times of the year that the river is at it's fullest. Learn what time is the right time to plan your Guided Alaskan Fishing Vacation.

What to  Bring Along

Besides the everyday travel items here are some items you may want to bring along. Warm layered clothing, rain gear, comfortable outdoor footwear, warm socks, light-weight to heavy jacket, camera and binoculars. Raingear (Frog Toggs or Gortex coat ), Sunglasses, Hat, Gloves, Lightweight breathable waders for fishing own your own (Hip waders are included when fishing with our guides). You will need to purchase the necessary fishing license and tag (if King Salmon fishing) this cost is not included in your package. Kids 13 and under do not need a fishing license just a catch card available at time you purchase your license.

Travel Accommodations

Rental Vehicles:

Rental vehicles are available in either Anchorage or at the Kenai Airport.

Flight Arrangements:

Please keep in mind that it will take you a minimum of 4 hours after your arrival in Anchorage to retrieve your baggage, rent a vehicle, and drive to your lodge. Guided day’s normally starts very early in the morning (4 am). Hourly commuter flights are available from Anchorage to the Kenai airport. You will find the drive from Anchorage to the Kenai Peninsula very beautiful and full of sights!
